Type material. Holotype female (THU-Ar-990017) and one male paratype (THU-Ar-990020) from Nantou, Taiwan, China, deposited in Tunghai University (THU), not examined.
Diagnosis. According to drawings in Wang et al. (2001), the female of this species is different from those of all other Bifidocoelotes species (including two new species described in the present paper) by the longitudinally extending spermathecae (Wang et al. 2001: fig. 2), vs. globular in B. mammiformis sp. nov. (Fig. 5D) and B. elongatus sp. nov. (Fig. 3D), and more or less transversely extending in B. primus (Fox, 1937) (Zhou et al. 2017: figs 3B, 4D) and B. quadratus sp. nov. (Fig. 6D).
Distribution. Known only from the type locality in China (Taiwan) (Fig. 7).
