Remarks. Most of the published information on Pseudoparasitus missouriensis has been published under the name G. austriacus . It has been recorded many times, from North America, Europe and Russia. The species may be recognised by the relatively narrow exopodal plates behind coxa IV, very long and narrow metapodal plates, the very wide rounded genito-ventral shield, and a pair of opisthogastric setae in the soft skin between the genito-ventral and anal shields.
