Kryptopterus limpok (Bleeker, 1852)

Kryptopterus limpok (Bleeker, 1852b): Parenti & Meisner, 2003: 44 (upper and middle Belait) ; Ng, 2002a: 72 (Tutong district: Sungai Merimbun; Belait district: Sungai Melilas); Sulaiman & Shahdan, 2007: 31 (Tasek Merimbun).

Remarks. A very similar species, Kryptopterus baramensis Ng (2002a: 68) has been described from the upper

Baram basin just across the Malaysian border in Sarawak. K.baramensis differs in having its vomerine toothplate

divided in two.
