Labeo gonius (Hamilton, 1822)

Remarks. Cyprinus curchius was reported from the Kabul River by McClelland (1842) and synonymized with Labeo gonius by Coad (1981: 11). However, currently, Labeo curchius is a valid species. According to Coad (2014), this species was probably erroneously identified as Labeo gonius by McClelland (1842). This issue should be clarified.
