Paracobitis malapterura (Valenciennes, 1846)

Remarks. This species is identified from Iran and distributed in the Middle East: Lake Namak basin and eastern Kavir basin (Iran, Iraq). Therefore, Afghanistan is not included in the natural distribution range of the species. This species was probably misidentified.
