Systomus sarana (Hamilton, 1822)

Remarks. This species was recorded by McClelland (1842) from the Kabul River as Systomus immaculatus, which was synonymized with Puntius sarana by Coad (1981). Afghanistan is not included in the natural distribution range of the species.
