Pethia ticto (Hamilton, 1822)

Remarks. This species was originally described from the Lower Swat River drainage in Pakistan by Mirza (1973) and then listed by Coad (1981: 11; 2015: 327) as a possible distributed species for Afghanistan. The presence of the species needs clarification.
