Diagnosis: Pereonites 2–6 wider than long. Pleon shorter than pereonites 5 and 6 combined. Pereopods 1–3 propodus setae shorter than dactylus. Pereopods 4–6 propodus compact (about 2.5 times as long as wide). Material examined: Holotype female, length 3.7 mm, Mh-9, Safari 1, CP 16, 24º23.0’S – 58º 21.0’E, depth 4890–5043 m, trawl.
Distribution: Species known only from type locality: Indian Ocean, South of Mauritius.
Remarks: The holotype was in very poor condition. It consists of only two pereonites (probably 4 and 5) and one pair of pereopods (probably pereopod-4, Fig. 4 B).
