DISTRIBUTION: Uganda, Rwanda, Zaire, SW Central African Republic, S Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Bioko.

SYNONYMS: christyi, poensis, vandenberghei.

COMMENTS: Hatt (1940a) and Rosevear (1969) provided good reviews. Myological and skeletal interaction in mastication was reported by Lemire (1966).
