TYPE LOCALITY: W Angola, Landana .

DISTRIBUTION: WC and N Angola and W Zaire.

COMMENTS: A distinctive species that occurs either sympatrically or parapatrically with P. fallax in parts of its range (Crawford-Cabral, 1983).
