COMMENTS: Member of the New Guinea and Australian Old Endemics (Musser, 1981c). A chromosomal and morphometric study, representing an incomplete review of genus, was offered by Dennis and Menzies (1979). Additional chromosomal data were reported by Donnellan (1987).
