TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, probably Northern Territory (see Mahoney and Richardson (1988:191) .

DISTRIBUTION: Australia; always in rocky outcrops in Pilbara region of Western Australia through Kimberleys to N coastal Queensland between Cooktown and Townsville; also on offshore islands (see Watts and Aslin, 1981:138).

SYNONYMS: indutus .

COMMENTS: Electrophoretic comparisons between populations discordant with chromosomal differences (Baverstock et al., 1977d).
