TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: near l’Oued Bouzaréah Valley, Alger, Algeria, under Cistus sp. (Plantae: Cistaceae), at the border of a stand of Quercus suber (Plantae: Fagaceae).

NOTES: (a) Evans (1982: 308) provisionally considered L. singularis as a subspecies of Gamasellodes minor Athias-Henriot. We adopted the interpretation of Karg (2007: 122), who restored L. singularis to the species level, distinct from G. minor; (b) Karg (2007: 122) considered G. minor to belong to Protogamasellodes . However, in this publication we adopt the interpretation of Walter (2003: 3) and Gwiazdowicz & Walter (2005: 64), who placed it in Gamasellodes .
