Iphidozercon yamamotoi Ishikawa, 1984: 91 .
TYPE DEPOSITORY: Biological Laboratory, Matsuyama Shinonome Junior College, Matsuyama, Japan. TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Oda-Shô, Kamiukena-gun, Ehime, Japan, on Psacothea hilaris (Animalia: Cerambycidae).
NOTE: according to Gwiazdowicz & Halliday (2008: 48) this species does not belong to Iphidozercon; however, the authors did not suggest an alternative placement for it. An examination of a paratype of this species (a slide labelled “i283”) showed that it should be included in Xenoseius .
