TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Cedar Creek, Queensland, Australia, from cards placed in scrub. NOTE: Domrow (1974: 16) considered this species to be a junior synonym of Gamasus pygmaeus Müller. We adopted the interpretation of Halliday et al. (1998: 36), considering them to be distinct species.
