TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Spree and Havel Rivers, Berlin, Germany, associated with Achtheres percarum [Animalia: Lernaeopodidae] on Perca fluviatilis [Animalia: Percidae].
NOTE: Oudemans (1936) reproduced the original description of this species, and transferred it from Gamasus to Platyseius . Evans & Hyatt (1960) provisionally placed it in Sejus, meaning Cheiroseius, but it cannot be placed in a genus with any confidence.
