TYPE DEPOSITORY: Probably at State Pedagogical University, Poltava, Ukraine; accession number 1168-i1.

TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Poltava, Ukraine, on Coproica sp. [Animalia: Sphaeroceridae] "in the destroyed potato basement of the living house".

NOTE: this species appears to lack the most distinctive feature of Iphidozercon, namely the ventral deflection of the anterior end of the dorsal shield, which results in a sharp bend in the anterior end of the peritremes. Gwiazdowicz & Halliday (2008) excluded it from Iphidozercon, but did not place it in another genus.
