TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Buitenzorg [Java, Indonesia or The Netherlands], on unknown substrate. NOTE: Berlese's description of this species was brief and general, and was not illustrated. Berlese (1916a) transferred it to Lasioseius without providing any extra information, and there it must remain until the types are reexamined.
