Pachypsaltria camposi Goding 1925: 28 . (La Asuncion, Province of Bolívar, Ecuador)
REMARKS.—This species can be distinguished by its large body size (body length about 35 mm, wingspan about 144 mm), the rounded apex of the postclypeus when viewed from the dorsal side, and the dark infuscation along the fore wing ambient vein (Torres 1960). It is the largest of the Ecuadorian Pachypsaltria species.
DISTRIBUTION.—The species has been reported only from Ecuador (Metcalf 1963b; Duffels & van der Laan 1985). Goding (1925) reported the species from La Asunción, Azuay province.
