TYPE SPECIES.— Imbabura typica Distant 1911: 136 . ( Rio Durango, 350 ft, N.W. Ecuador)

REMARKS.—The genus can be distinguished quickly by the elongated, narrow fore wings (about three times as long as wide) and the four apical cells in the hind wing.

DISTRIBUTION.—The genus is currently known only from Ecuador (Metcalf 1963c).
