Material. AZERBAIJAN: Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic: 1♂ (ZMMU), Shahbuz, Batabat, 39°31'N 45°47'E, 03.06.2003 (E.F. Guseinov) .

Comments. This species has been treated in only two publications (WSC 2023). It is primarily known from the type series. The specimens of this species were collected within the subalpine zone at elevations ranging from 2000 to 2500 m (Dunin 1991a).

Distribution. Caucasus Minor. Previously, this species was known only from southern Armenia. Our new record from Azerbaijan has extended the known range of the species approximately 15' to the west.
