Holotype female with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | S. Paulo | Boracea | 900m. IV. 13. 42 [1942] | Almeida & | Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE & | Atarba | almeidai | C. P. Alexander”.
Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle; three undetermined legs detached, glued on the paper triangle. Missing parts: right wing and three undetermined legs.
