Austrolimnophila (Austrolimnophila) pallidistyla pallidistyla Alexander, 1942

Alexander, 1942: 57–59 (original description); 75, figures 24 (wing) and 32 (male terminalia). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, São Paulo (Serra da Cantareira).

Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “S. Brazil | Sao Paulo | Serra | Cantareira | 900m. Dez. [December] | 40 [1940] | Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Austrolimnophila | pallidistyla | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle; part of abdomen detached, glued on the paper triangle; terminalia mounted on plastic slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: flagella, right wing, right front leg, left middle leg and left hind leg. Additional note: the original description indicates as collectors “Guimarães & Travassos”. This differs from the specimen label which indicates only “Travassos” as the collector.
