Austrolimnophila (Austrolimnophila) subpacifera Alexander, 1942
Alexander, 1942: 61–62 (original description); 75, figures 26 (wing) and 33 (male terminalia). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, São Paulo (Serra da Cantareira).
Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brasil, Sao Paulo | S. Cantareira | 900m. XII. 40 [1940] | Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Austrolimnophila | subpacifera | C. P. Alexander”.
Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle; terminalia undissected. Missing parts: flagella, left front leg, right middle leg and hind legs. Additional note: the original description indicates as collectors “Guimarães & Travassos”. This differs from the specimen label which indicates only “Travassos” as the collector.
