Ellipteroides (Progonomyia) nigroluteus (Alexander 1971)

Alexander 1971: 258–259 (original description); 266, figure 38 (wing); (as Gonomyia). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Juquiá.

Holotype female with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | S. Paulo | Juquiá | 300m. | Feb. 22. 41 [February 22, 1941] | Travassos; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE Ψ | Gonomyia | nigrolutea | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle. Missing parts: antennae, right wing and legs.
