Gonomyia (Gonomyia) subappendiculata Alexander, 1954

Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | Boracea | X – 11. 48 [October 11, 1948] | Travassos”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “Hypopyg. | on | slide; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Gonomyia | subappendiculata | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle. Missing parts: left antenna, wings, right front leg and terminalia.
