Hexatoma (Eriocera) carrerai Alexander, 1942

Alexander, 1942: 65–66 (original description); 75, figure 29 (wing). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Guarujá. Paratype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | São Paulo| Guaruja | 50m. | Jan. 30. ’41 [January 30, 1941] | Carrera”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on blue paper: “ PARATYPE ♂ | Hexatoma | ( Eriocera) | carrerai | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle; terminalia undissected. Missing parts: antennae, left wing and left legs.
