Molophilus (Molophilus) cautus Alexander, 1947

Paratype female with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | S. Paulo | Ferraz | Vascon- | celos | Aug. 46 [August, 1946] | J. Lane”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on blue paper: “ PARATYPE | molophilus | cautus | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle. Missing parts: antennae and most legs except middle legs.

Paratype of unknown sex with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “ Brazil – Rio [Rio de Janeiro] | Angra dos Reis | Alt. 50mets. | VII – 9 1945 [July 9, 1945] | Lauro Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on blue paper: “ PARATYPE | Malophilus | cautus | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle. Missing parts: head, right wing, most legs except left front leg and right middle leg and abdomen.
