Leptotarsus (Longurio) guimaraesi (Alexander, 1942)

Alexander, 1942: 46–47 (original description); 73, figures 12 (wing) and 16 (male terminalia); (as Macromastix). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Juquiá.

Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | São Paulo | Juquiá | 400m, XI - 40 [November, 1940] | Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Macromastix | guimaraesi | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle; terminalia mounted on a plastic slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: left antenna, right wing and most legs except left front leg and left hind leg.
