Tipula (Eumicrotipula) atroscapa Alexander, 1949

Alexander, 1949: 470–473 (original description). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, São Paulo (Ipiranga). Allotype female with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | S. Paulo | Ipiranga | Mar. 10. ‘44 [March 10, 1944] | F. Lane”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ALLOTYPE Ψ | Tipula | atroscapa | C. P. Alexander”.

Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle. Missing parts: right antenna, right wing and right legs.
