Tabasco: “ Geomys tropicalis ” [in error], no date (Werneck, 1945; Price & Emerson 1971; Price & Hellenthal 1976); Orthogeomys hispidus teapensis, Montecristo, no date (Price & Hellenthal 1976). Type: Holotype male deposited in USNM (218035).

Notes: Werneck (1945) gave the type host as “ Geomys personatus tropicalis Goldman ”, but Emerson & Price (1971) regarded it in error and suggested that the correct host may be Orthogeomys hispidus chiapensis .
