Anisodactylus intermedius Dejean, 1829: 139 .

The specimen here recognized as the holotype is a female bearing the labels “mentun subdentatum/calcare trifido”, “ intermedius mihi in Gal. mer. Perpignan”, “ex-Museo Chaudoir”, “ L. Bedel vidit 1897” and “ Holotype of Anisodactylus intermedius Dejean, 1829 desig. by J. Serrano ” .

The species is currently included in the monotypic subgenus Pseudodichirius Lutshnik, 1921b (Kataev & Wrase, 2017a), according to the trifid apical spur of protibial, pilosity of elytra, valvifers and other characters. Morphological characters of the holotype are correctly described in current classifications (e.g., Jeannel, 1942; Noonan, 1996).

The species is distributed from the northern side of the Mediterranean to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan (Kataev, 2002).
