Harpalus (Ophonus) cribricollis Dejean, 1829: 208 .
The specimen here designated as lectotype is a male bearing the labels: “ cribricollis Stéven in Rus. mer. Caucase.” and “ Lectotype of Harpalus (Ophonus) cribricollis Dejean, 1829 desig. by J. Serrano ” .
The specimen designated as lectotype is the first mentioned in the original description. Different authors have dealt with this species (Jeannel, 1942; Antoine,1959; Sciaky,1987; Wrase, 2004, 2011).
It is distributed in Central and Mediterranean Europe, Anatolia, Iraq and Iran (Kataev & Wrase, 2017c).
