Pempheris bexillon vs. P. adusta

Koeda et al. (2014: fig. 1 B) identified a specimen of Pempheris from Anjouan in the Comoro Islands as P. adusta and used the specimen as material for their redescription of P. adusta . However, the specimen of their photograph is now a paratype of Pempheris bexillon Mooi & Randall (2014) .
