This is a European species that does not reach to the Balkans or Caucasus (Berchi & Kment 2015; Berchi et al. 2023; Aukema 2023). It was recorded from Turkey once, by Küçükbasmacı & Kıyak (2015) from Kastamonu. Concerning its distribution, this record is doubtful and needs verification (P. Kment, pers. comm.).
