The song is quite similar to that of P. pechevi . The males were active at night and produced series with a duration of 5.6± 3,7 s (n=62; range 0.8– 18.7 s) at intervals of 12.9± 10.8s (n=28) s. After a short, soft and irregular beginning ca. 60 syllables followed (SRR 10.8 Hz; T =23.5–28ºC; Fig. 6). The syllables had a duration of 64±8.2 ms (n=28) and contained 8.25±1.2 (n=18) impulses, resulting in a mean interval of 9.1 ms between the impulses (Fig. 7).
