Arpactophilus nemoralis Bohart, 1999: 106 [♀: holotype MNHN].

Remarks. Bohart’s material of A. nemoralis was not available to us nor could any of the newly acquired samples be assigned to his species with any degree of confidence. The original account contains contradictions as to what states are present in some features owing to discrepancies between the diagnosis, keys, and figures. Moreover, several features now realized to be of value in delimiting species in the fauna were not discussed or figured in Bohart’s (1999) work rendering uncertain the identity of the species. The true identity of A. nemoralis remains a task for future work on the genus.
