Arpactophilus irwini Bohart, 1999: 98 [♀: holotype MNHN].

Diagnosis. Arpactophilus irwini is the only New Caledonian species in the genus with a combination of an apical margin of clypeus with three teeth (concave between teeth) (Fig. 63), a dorsal surface of the propodeum with weakly prominent transversal wrinkles (Fig. 17), infumate wings and a black metasoma (Fig. 64).
