REMARKS: Penther [1913] recorded this species from Khatuniyah, Syria (as Chatunije), and other authors followed this record as Chatunije (is called variously Chatunia, Katynnija, Khatunieh, Khatuniyeh, Khatuniya, Khatounie), Iraq [El-Hennawy, 1999; Harvey, 2003], since the village is located in Syria, near the border between Syria and Iraq.
