Distribution in Iran. Fars (Modarres Awal 1997c), Isfahan (Modarres Awal 1997c), Mazandaran (Ghahari et al. 2011), Tehran (Linnavuori 2007), West Azarbaijan (Mostaan 1993; Modarres Awal 1997c), Yazd (Modarres Awal 1997c), Iran (no locality cited) (Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution, hosts and prey. Euro-Siberian species; collected on numerous plants such apple (Modarres Awal 1997c), Alnus sp., Fraxinus sp., Salix sp. (Linnavuori 2007) and Sonchus asper (Ghahari et al. 2011) . Predator of European red mite (Mostaan 1993; Modarres Awal 1997c), aphids and other mites (Modarres Awal 1997c).
