REMARKS

Alphonse Milne-Edwards (1890: 175) clearly indicated that the species in his hands was represented by a unique specimen, so it is a holotype by monotypy, which corroborates Türkay’s (1974a: 972) inference of the holotype. The mention 2523-86 on the label corresponds to the information recorded in the CAA.
