Description. Male (new description). Body medium. Fastigium verticis wider than scape. Face smooth with scattered impressed dots (Fig. 11A). Ocelli indistinct. Pronotum with anterior margin slightly projecting, posterior margin almost truncate (Fig. 11B); lateral lobes longer than high (Fig. 11C). Fore coxae swollen with 1 spine (Fig. 11C). Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, left hind femora with 6–10 internal and 4–8 external spines on ventral surface. Fore and middle tibiae ventrally with 4 pairs of spurs and 1 pair of apical spurs; middle tibiae with1 internal spine on dorsal surface. Hind tibiae with 3–6 internal and 4–7 external spines on dorsal surface, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Second and third abdominal tergites each with two rows of stridulatory pegs (Fig. 11D).

Posterior margin of eighth abdominal tergite arched (Fig. 11F). Posterior margin of ninth abdominal tergite furrowed along the middle, posterior margin triangularly concave in dorsal view (Fig. 11F), the lateral lobes prolonged into a spine which directing downward and slightly incurved (Fig. 11G–H). Tenth abdominal tergite interrupted in the middle. Cerci short, conical, its apices obtuse. Subgenital plate transverse, posterior margin triangularly concave the lateral loves with swollen basal area and digitate apical area, its tip directing inwards (Fig. 11H).

Coloration. The body color is very similar to holotype.

Material examined. 1 male, Anjiangping, Lingui, Guangxi, July 10, coll. by Xiangyi Lu, Siyu Pang and Huan Meng; 1 male, Anjiangping, Lingui, Guangxi, July 13, coll. by Xiangyi Lu, Siyu Pang and Huan Meng; 2 males, Anjiangping, Lingui, Guangxi, August 3, 2022, coll. by Siyu Pang, Pinying Rong and Huan Meng .

Measurements (mm). Male: BL 19.2–20.8, PL 4.2–4.9, HFL 10.9–12.3.

Distribution. Guangxi (Lingui, Xing’an).

Discussion. Based on the color patterns these specimens from Anjiangping, Lingui, Guangxi are very similar to Apterolarnaca (Bianigryllacris) quadratus (Li & Liu, 2015) . Here we treated them as the male sex of the latter. The male is very similar to Apterolarnaca (Bianigryllacris) nigrigeniculatus (Liu & Yin, 2002), but differs from the latter by the posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite widely separated from each other, and the pronotum has wider black margins; external margins of hind femora with black stripe.
