Description. ♂. Fully winged; body length 2.1–2.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna browntestaceous, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown-testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:6:7:6:5.5:5:5:4.5:4.5:7. Head dull, reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 3; OL = 3; OOL = 6; OPL = 6; TL = 4; greatest breadth of posterior ocellus as long as POL. Mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum reticulate rugose. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli longer than greatest breadth of lateral ocelli (7:3). Metapectalpropodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity with two complete longitudinal keels, lateral areas rugose and median area almost completely shiny and unsculptured or with small central unsculptured area (less frequently median area completely rugose, without unsculptured area). Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein slightly longer than proximal part (10:9); 2r-rs&Rs vein not S-shaped. Petiole short. Apex of paramere pointed (Fig. 108F); apex of basivolsella broadened (Fig. 108F). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Types: ♂ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Mahajanga, Sofia District, 45 km S Antsohihy, 5 km W of Anjiamangirana, elev 97 m, 27.I–2.II.2011 , 15°09.42’S 47°47.05’E, M.Irwin, R.Harin’Hala, MT, Analagnambe dry degraded forest, MG-61-08 (CAS). Paratypes: same locality label as holotype, 3♂♂ (2 in CAS, 1 in MOLC). Other material: MADAGASCAR: Toliara, Berenty Special Reserve, 8 km NW Amboasary, 25°00.40’S 46°18.20’E, 85 m, 24.III–3.IV.2003 , MT, gallery forest, M. Irwin, F. Parker, R. Harin’Hala leg., MA- 02-22-20, 5♂♂ (2 in MOLC, 3 in CAS); same locality label, 16–27.XII.2002, 12♂♂ (7 in CAS, 5 in MOLC) .
