Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 3.8–5.4 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus testaceous or yellow; antenna black or brown-black, except scape testaceous and flagellomere 8 whitish; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown-black.Antenna distally thickened; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:7:23:14:14:10:11:10:10:14. Body covered with long sparse setae. Head excavated, shiny; in holotype, frons almost completely unsculptured, except few short irregular keels on sides of frontal line; frons of holotype with two parallel complete very close frontal lines; in two specimens from Sierra Leone, 8°53’N 12°3’W, frons partly rugose on sides of frontal line (less rugose in the smallest specimen, more rugose in the largest specimen (5.4 mm)); frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; temple distinct; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 9. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum shiny, crossed by strong transverse impression; in holotype and the smallest specimen from Sierra Leone, 8°53’N 12°3’W, pronotum completely unsculptured; in the largest specimen from Sierra Leone, 8°53’N 12°3’W, disc rugose. Mesoscutum rugose, with numerous longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophyses. Mesoscutellum small, shiny, smooth. Metanotum dull, transversely striate, with sides rounded. Meso-metapleural suture almost completely obsolete (only few parts visible). Metapectal-propodeal disc with track of median longitudinal furrow; top and anterior surface of metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured (partly rugose in the smallest specimen from Sierra Leone, 8°53’N 12°3’W; completely and strongly rugose in the largest specimen from Sierra Leone, 8°53’N 12°3’W); propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 16:3:6:16.5:26. Enlarged claw (Fig. 176A) with one large subapical tooth and one row of 12–14 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 (Fig. 176A) with two rows of 22–33 lamellae; apex with approximately 12–15 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
