Description. ♂ (Fig. 262D). Fully winged; body length 1.4–2.2 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous and clypeus testaceous-dark; antenna testaceous-darkened; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs yellow-testaceous. In paratypes, mesosoma brown-black. In specimen from Madagascar, 17°41.36’S 49°27.37’E, MG-37B-18, mesosoma totally testaceous-dark and metasoma yellow-testaceous. Antenna filiform, very slender and long, much longer than body; antennomeres in following proportions: 6:5:10:12:10:12:12:11:10:10. Head (Fig. 262D) convex, shiny, unsculpured; occiput very concave, unsculptured; frontal line absent; central area of frons with slight short median longitudinal furrow; occipital carina complete; ocelli large (Fig. 262D); holotype with POL = 4; OOL = 3; paratype with POL = 4; OL = 1.5; OOL = 2; minimum distance from eye to occipital carina about as long as OL; TL = 4; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli longer than OOL (3:2); lateral ocelli touching occipital carina; temple very long, shorter than eye (4:9); mandible with four irregular teeth. Palpal formula 6/3. Mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured (in specimen from Madagascar, 12°31.13’S 49°10.45’E, mesoscutum finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures); notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli less than twice as long as greatest breadth of lateral ocelli (5:3). Epicnemium exposed. Metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with areolae at least partly as large as tegulae. Forewing very slightly broadly darkened, with darker spot around 2r-rs&Rs vein; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein slightly longer than proximal part (12:11); 2R1 cell open. Hind wing very slightly darkened. Paramere (Fig. 261F) without inner apical and pointed expansion; basivolsella with apex parallel to distivolsella (Fig. 261F). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
