Distribution. Known only from the type locality in Taiwan.
This species was known only from the unique female type, and its genitalia was examined by Arita (1986), who concluded that S. mushana and P. formosicola are similar to each other in terms of external morphology and female genitalia. The sole distinction is that a white marking is present on antennae of S. mushana, whereas it is absent on antennae of P. formosicola . Whether S. mushana is conspecific to P. formosicola remains an unsolved question and awaits for further clarification.
