Simothraulopsis demerara (Traver, 1947)

Distribution. Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana, Brazil (Roraima, Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Maranhão, Ceará, Piauí, Tocantins, Acre, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Bahia, Goiás, Espírito Santo, Paraná), Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina.

Remarks. The species was previously recorded in Tocantins state by Boldrini & Krolow (2017). It was originally described from French Guiana and Surinam and is widely distributed in the north and northeast of Brazil reaching the state of Paraná (Nascimento et al. 2017; Faria & Salles 2019). It was found in two sites in areas with Cerrado influence.
