Euschistus (Lycipta) illotus .

Like the previous species, this pentatomid was intercepted on privet on a very few occasions, and only as adults and probably does not reproduce on privet. The species was described from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; is known in South America from Bolivia to Paraguay and Argentina. In Brazil, it was collected also in the states of Mato Grosso, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina (ROLSTON, 1982). This is the first record for Paraná.
