Record associated with mangroves: Kota Batu, Sungai Brunei Estuary and Bay, Brunei Darussalam, on mud flat and in algae covering the pneumatophores of Avicennia marina mangroves (Chatterjee et al. 2012b). End of Lim Chu Kang Road, Singapore, among red and green algae (Ceramialis and Cladophorales) on basal part of Avicennia trunk, mid-tide zone (Bartsch 2015).
