Amhyadesia bermudana Fain & Schuster, 1983
Records associated with mangroves: Bermuda islands, algae on air roots and on the base of the trunks of Rhizophora mangle and Avicennia nitida . A similar colonization is realized on the air roots of the "White Mangrove" ("Buttonwood"), Conocarpus erecta (Fain & Schuster 1983) .
Records from other habitats: This species, widespread over the archipelago, lives in the intertidal area and in the lower part of the supralittoral zone of the rocky coast. It is to be found on the rock surface or in micro-fissures, but also on rocks covered by a dense growth of algae or chthamalids from Bermuda islands (Fain & Schuster 1983).
